For those who are not feeling positive about West Ham at the moment....
We are sitting 6th in the league
Just 2 points of 2nd
Are above the Y***
Have the joint 2nd best goal difference
Are joint top scorers
Have the best away record
Are entertaining to watch
Have a manager that understands the fans and what the West Ham way is

Pour yourself a large glass of your favourite tipple and just enjoy the moment...these times as an Hammer are few and far between!

Re: For those who are not feeling positive about West Ham at the moment....
Two things people seem to have forgotten in all their equations

Bilic has very little experience of English football. Surprise, surprise, all the results so far, have been against teams he has had exposure too, either as a manager or just watching English teams on prime time European TV.

I bet Slaven has hardly any knowledge of Bournemouth, Leicester, Norwich or Sunderland, yet not surprisingly, he has a detailed knowledge of Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City. Like a Chess Grand Master he analysed them and worked them out and developed a strategy to play them.

Could that be the reason the results have been imbalanced the way they have?

The other thing to note, is that Beksiktas, his last team in Turkey didn't have a home stadium to play in for 2 years. He developed a style of playing, that made them very successful playing away. He got 3rd place behind the big names in Turkey, and yet was regarded harshly as a failure.

What does this all prove? It proves that we have a very unique, clever, shrewd and adaptable manager. It augurs well for the future if we can all get off his back and give him time to adjust to our league and give him 50 million to spend in the next 2 summer transfer windows.

The point is ... we must give him time! We could really have a world class manager in the making.

I'm enjoying this season. We're scoring goals and playing good football. We have a decent well balanced squad of players with a likeable character.

There have been a few bad results and dodgy performances too, but overall what's not to like?

I won't be happy till we sought out the home form. 1 win in 4 against the team's we've played is not acceptable. Playing like an away team at home clearly doesn't work play two up front at home.

A strong chance we'll finish above Spurs this season

I thought last seasons start and squad was the best for years,

Now we're better with a different philosophy from the top, PALACE will be a test we'll have to be right up for that level of pace!

I'm actually loving it at the moment. We're playing some great stuff under a brilliant manager and being lead by a local lad who happens to be our longest serving player.

This is the best I've felt about the club (on the pitch) since the redknapp days.

Irons.

Well said 'erbert!
And we could get the special (needs) one the tin-tack when we beat the Hammersmith and Fulham rentboys in a few weeks time.

Totally agree with you. If any one is honest with themselves, especially after the tepid europa league performances, and thought we would be where we are at this stage, and had three stunning away wins on the bounce, that would be somewhat wishful thinking. We are unbeaten in four games. Points away from home be it one or three are vital. We are going the right way.

Considering the change of manager, new players and new direction we're doing great. Shut up the Be Careful What You Wish For brigade in the media for a start.

Patience is a virtue the best is still to come.

It is not that i am not positive, i just want the team to stop giving away silly goals with stray passing that is all.
Apart from that i am a very happy hammer.
